Principal accountabilities 1. To maintain and develop conference bookings and marketing databases, undertaking computerised administration of conference bookings, cancellations on a specialist conference software and also dealing with the administration of the manual booking system support files. 2. To attend events to provide general administrative support to the Events Team. 3. To compile, collate and distribute conference information packs and marketing information packs for postal and fax distribution. 4. To act as first point of contact for enquiries, and respond to or refer enquiries as appropriate. 5. To maintain and develop the conference and event departments filing systems. 6. To support the integration of equal opportunities and other policies for staff. 7. To undertake any other duties appropriate to the post.
